An international data protection company is looking for a talented senior Java developer to join their diverse team. The business has been selected as the endpoint data protection software solution of choice by major industry players. They require an individual with a strong appreciation for and an ability to; apply high performance data processing algorithms, design efficient and secure transfer of data between endpoints, cater for high concurrent usage, and support the storage of vast quantities of data.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum eight years of JSE/JEE experience designing enterprise applications
• BSc computer science or BEng degree; with majors in maths/statistics
• A strong mathematical and/or statistics background
• A solid grasp of data structures, their applications and effective use of time and space
• A strong understanding of threading, concurrency and network programming
• Solid understanding of threading and concurrency
• Solid understanding of network programming; sockets, TCP, UDP, websockets, etc.
• Strong Java SE experience
• Spring, AngularJS
• JMS, Servlets, XML/JSON
• Berkeley DB, OrientDB, MongoDB
