• Facilitation of learning
• Assessment of learning
• Evaluation of teaching
• Support of students in their studies
• Supervision of post-graduate students (where the person has the appropriate qualification to do this)
• Assume leadership responsibilities as they relate to teaching and learning 

Requirements:

• Senior Lecturer: PhD in Mathematical Statistical Sciences  
• Lecturer: MSc in Mathematical Statistical Sciences, preferably with progress towards a PhD.
• Experience in teaching in one or more of the following disciplinary areas:
• • Mathematical Statistics (at undergraduate and postgraduate levels)
  • Multivariate Analysis
  • Generalised Linear Models
  • Bayesian Statistics
  • Financial Statistics
  • Stochastic Processes
  • Bootstrap
  • Classification/Statistical Learning
  • Linear Algebra
  • Calculus
• Research supervision of Masters and preferably PhD degrees required
• Track record of research publication
• Track record of administration, management, and/or leadership
