One of the top ICT company’s in Cape Town who provides business and technology solutions to various industries seeks a senior mobile developer (Native) to join their team.

Requirements:

Required experience:

• Native iOS development using Xcode, Swift and Objective-C
• Three years’ Objective-C experience
• One year’s Swift experience (current)
• An experienced practitioner of object oriented programming
• Good experience writing unit tests for mobile apps
• Expert at using autolayout constraints for designing responsive user interfaces
• Thorough understanding of iOS Human Interface guidelines
• Ability to write custom views
• Skilled at building mobile UIs that remain responsive while work is performed in the background
• Well versed in the app profiling techniques using Instruments e.g. Leaks, Zombies, Network..
• Experience working with Git
• Good understanding of how code signing works
• Good understanding of web technologies

Beneficial experience:

• C, C++
• Java / .Net REST Api development
• Automating the iOS app build process
• Cryptography, OpenSSL
• Android development

Attributes:

• Clean credit record, good financial standing with all debtors
• No criminal record, pending judgements etc.
• Verifiable tertiary credentials
• Good communicator, will need to be a good culture fit for the environment
