Service Engineer
Responsibilities:
•Perform short term, site-based planning, coordination, execution of planned maintenance
•Coordinate/execute corrective maintenance, trouble shoot control systems
•Execute Capital Equipment installations at customer sites according
•Execute, plan, coordinate preventive maintenance activities, re-in state lines into production, rebuild kits/upgrades
•Execute analysis/troubleshoot to resolve mechanical, electrical, automation issues. Conduct root cause analysis for resolutions, compile reports, manage technical Issues according to the QTIM process
•Participate in looking for business opportunities, share with technical sales responsible (e.g. SKAM), suggest solutions •Participate in building good relationships with customer staff, act as an ambassador
•Comply to company/customer safety regulations, promote a safe working culture Requirements:
•N6/Diploma with Trade Test in Electrical, Mechanical, Millwright
•5 years’ experience
•Coach/mentor skills
•Utilise WCM/TPM principles e.g. continuous Improvements and PSM methodology.
•Manufacturing equipment installation, controls/automation (servo systems) •Understanding of automation systems, Allen Bradley frequency drives, Profibus, Siemens PLC programming software, Rockwell RSLogix 5, 500, 5000 PLC programming software, Intouch (WonderWare), Device Net, ABB, Danfoss frequency drives or similar is preferred
•Ability to travel up to and about 75% of the time
