Prominent shopping centre seeks the services of a skilled and seasoned PR account manager to join their already highly successful team.

You will manage an array of shopping centre accounts in your PR portfolio with a focus on influencer marketing inclusive of social strategy, creative content development, account management and activation. The role requires a strong account lead who can deliver innovative thinking, author smart decks, troubleshoot client and team issues as well as oversee the financial health of the business from team utilization to client procurement management.

Candidates should only apply if they have the following experience and meet the necessary criteria:

• Builds and maintain senior-level client relationships
• Provide team with direction and input to ensure business and project goals are met
• Maximises media relations activity on behalf of the client via an in-depth knowledge of team networks
• Recognises and creates media opportunities for the client in line with wider industry activity
• Uses social media to recognise trends and proactively promotes new tools, solutions and processes to continuously evolve and optimize client PR campaigns across the business
• Acts as a leader in guiding colleagues on how to best manage campaigns and projects

Requirements

• Is able to craft creative briefs and provide clear, persuasive briefings to creative teams and remain an active contributor throughout the creative development process
• Understands paid search campaigns, major online media campaigns and emerging media
• CRM/Direct experience is beneficial
• Has excellent presentation skills and presentation development skills
• Has excellent organizational skills
• Appropriate people management experience is essential
• Well developed interpersonal skills
• Ability to deliver on time and within budget
• Strong organisational abilities, accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong negotiating skills
• Knowledge and understanding of merchandising principles
• Sound technical and operations knowledge and understanding
• Final reviewer of PR plans and project scopes before they are presented to clients
