Job purposeTo build and execute a social media strategy through competitive and audience research. To set up and optimize company pages within each social media platform

Responsibilities

• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
• Content development and basic graphic design
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video etc…) that builds meaningful connections and encourages engagement
• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase visibility
• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
• Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
• Digital marketing
• Daily channel management
• Tracking and reporting

Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ experience working on social media
• Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Good technical skills, and familiarity with web design
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Excellent multitasking skills and good time management skills
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+
• Understanding of social media best practices
• Basic knowledge of InDesign and/or Illustrator
• Extensive knowledge of online marketing
• Positive attitude, attention for detail and client-oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
• Fluency in English
• Diploma or Bachelors Degree Communications or equivalent qualification in marketing or digital marketing. Other related courses will be considered.
