Job description
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Marketing team at Orms. The ideal candidate must have a passion for all things social, thrive on engagements and interactions with a growing social community and love making their ideas come to life. You must be able to communicate across different social channels with excellent attention to detail. Your focus will be to understand and build on the current brand strategy and to work alongside the marketing team on creating social content and posts which are consistent and reflective of the brands’ voice.
You will be responsible for the brands online presence through organic and paid media, working closely alongside the Content Manager to ensure brand tone is strictly adhered to. You will be responsible for all paid media and will be required to have excellent organisational skills when managing marketing budgets. Analytical skills are a must as you will be required to report on a month-to-month basis on the health of both content channels and social platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Publish all content across the Orms social platforms. A good working knowledge of Facebook Business Manager is a must, as well as experience with Twitter, Instagram and YouTube in a business capacity
- Grow the brand’s social presence and maintain all aspects of these growing online communities
- Work closely with in-house videographer on conceptualising ideas for YouTube and IGTV
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager and the broader marketing team on campaigns from conception to implementation
- Track and analyze overall social and content performance and compile monthly reports in easy to digest format
- Be in the loop with the latest social trends, innovations and developments and bring new ideas to the table
- Help to deliver a consistent brand experience across all platforms
- To make recommendations on the most impactful and cost-effective assets for digital platforms
- Maintain relationships with collaborators and highlight new opportunities from social communities
- Manage social budget and implement all paid and organic social campaigns
Our ideal candidate has:
- A passion for photography, the language to back this up and experience working in the photographic industry
- Strong creative writing skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a social-focused role
- Experience working with WordPress, various social platforms and an understanding of social shopping through the Facebook Pixel
- Impeccable organisation skills
- The ability to think creatively and outside of the box
- A hard working, determined and can-do attitude
