One of our Nomad Now clients, a proudly South African 20-year-old consulting and technology company, is seeking a software developer with at least four years’ software engineering experience within a consulting context.

Requirements

• At least four years’ software engineering experience within a consulting context
• At least four years’ specialist software development experience
• At least four years’ leadership experience
• Business science, BCom, engineering, or BSc degree

Responsibilities:

• Understand and apply technologies and patterns appropriately to software solutions
• Design, architect, and code solutions to meet business needs in the short, medium and longer term
• Elevate client environments through superior engineering ability
• Apply best coding, automation, testing and quality practices such that reliable, durable and performant solutions are produced
• Build real and meaningful relationships with client technology leaders
• Work with clients to create innovative solutions to business problems
• Deliver valuable end-to-end software solutions to clients
