Environment:

A Johannesburg technology company who develops hardware and software, are looking for a software test engineer to join the team. Candidates must have two years or more of software development experience, preferably inC#, .Net.

Duties:

• Recently qualified software engineer to contribute to our testing infrastructure.
• You will cover testing and quality assurance of both mobile and server software.
• You will have the opportunity to influence how we assure our product quality, throughout the design, implementation and testing phases.

Requirements:

• BTech, BSc. or diploma in software related majors.
• Two years or more of software development experience, preferably in the C#, .NET world.
• Experience with technologies and practices we utilise such as NUnit and TDD.
• Practical knowledge of testing and the ability to automate and instrument the testing process.
• Good cultural fit who aspires to achieve the same outcomes as us.
• A technically sound approach is a must, but so is an open-minded willingness to innovate, synthesise and create.
• Autonomous, self-driven people who are capable of surprising and delighting customers and colleagues with blow-away implementations, i.e. they get the right things done, and do so with aplomb.
• The role requires a mature engineer who is knowledgeable in the craft of software development and takes utmost pride in their work.
• You will be an expert in the C# programming language and passionate about staying at the cutting edge of the Azure world.
