The successful candidate will report to the Senior Business Analyst and must have a BCom or equivalent qualification coupled with at least three years’ experience as a business analyst/systems analyst.

Duties and responsibilities

• Generate blueprints of business processes;
• Suggest improvements in finance processes/systems;
• Design and implement process and system controls;
• Adhere to project deadlines and deliverables;
• Assist in project planning;
• Lead testing efforts;
• Initiate and follow through on issue resolution;
• Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards;
• Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles;
• Business requirements definition: work closely with the business (key business users on all levels) and BI development team to define the business requirements and translate them into specifications;
• Knowledge of data warehouse, information management and decision support concepts;
• Provide support for finance systems;
• Provide training on finance systems.

Skills and experience:

Requirements:

• BCom or equivalent is essential
• Three to five years’ working with finance system software
• Three years as a systems analyst
• Two years’ experience in a corporate environment
• Experience working with ERP Systems
