We’re an established production company looking for an experienced line producer to oversee various TV productions.
Extensive knowledge of the M-Net budget pack is non negotiable, and in-depth knowledge of scheduling and budgeting, as well as all the physical and technical processes of filmmaking.
Must have industry contacts, strong management and planning skills. Must be able to identify hazards in a production environment, assess the risk and recommend action.
Applicants must have a minimum of five years’ industry experience, with contactable references as a line producer. A strong command of Afrikaans is a must, as the production house produces mainly Afrikaans content.
Knowledge of Pastel and Sage or Zero payroll is essential, along with at least a B-degree (B.Comm is preferable).

Senior Officer: Global Markets works and reports directly with the General Manager: Global Markets to assist in managing South Africa’s reputation through proactive and coordinated marketing and communication in key global markets.
Key Responsibility areas
The role will essentially have three functions: administering, reporting, and representing.
Specifically, Senior Officer: Global Markets will, with minimal supervision, support the programme in the following ways:

Requirements

Five+ years’ combined experience in marketing, research, communications, public relations, stakeholder relations
Proven working knowledge of a foreign language will be an advantage
