A Manufacturing concern based in East London is seeking Toolmakers to manufacture, repair, maintain and modify tools, jigs and dies to ensure customer and company quality standards are met.

Location : East London
Type : Permanent position
Salary : R20 000 – R28 000 pm basic [depending on experience] Benefits : Medical aid – company pays 50%, employee pays 50%, Pension and 13th Cheque
Reporting to : Group Leader
  Key Performance Areas :
Manufacture, repair, maintain and modify tools, jigs and dies to customer and company requirement.
  Knowlegde & Skills required :
• Certified Toolmaker
• Toolmaker techniques
• Tool, die and jig repair and maintenance
• Communication & decision making
• Experience in metal pressings within the automotive industry
• Repair & Refurbish light and heavy press tooling
• General machining
• Specialised welding [toolsteel / cast iron etc.]   Minimum Qualifications/Experience Required :
• Grade 12
• Qualified Tool and Jig maker
• Minimum 5 years experience as Toolmaker within an automotive environment
• Minimum 2 years tool, jig and die experience
