A leading tour operator in Century City, Cape Town, wishes to intermediate/ senior tour consultants to join their international and dynamic team. The company specialises in tour packages and travel arrangements for various Southern and Eastern African regions. The right candidate will successfully quote tour products for existing and new clients.

Key performance areas:

• Maintain client and customer relationships
• Quote and design creative itineraries and proposals
• Source and sell alternative services
• Successfully run groups, tour series and FIT bookings 
• Prepare welcome packs (Vouchers, Itineraries, etc.)
• Handle the 24hr emergency phone
• Reconcile supplier invoices for processing
• Reconcile tour guide expense sheets and check guide salaries
• Assist in answering complaints

Qualifications and experiences:

• Matric with relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
• Minimum three to five years’ working experience in inbound tourism 

Competencies required:

• Fluent in English 
• Demonstrated literacy in MS Office applications and quoting essential
• Experience with Tour plan is advantageous
• Sound knowledge of Southern Africa
• Proficient organisational skills and an excellent eye for detail
