Traffic Management Operator
To effectively detect incidents that occurs on the respective province’s Freeway network and to dispatch the relevant assistance timeously in order to save lives and reduce traffic congestion. Actively monitor and detect incidents within 3 minutes of their occurrence via the various detection methods:CCTV cameras, SMS, Inbound Calls,Email,Twitter,radio. Accurate logging and verification of all detected incidents. Dispatching of On-Road Services Vehicles as well as Coordination with relevant response units during active incidents. Monitor, record and report all road-side and TMC equipment malfunctions. Accurate and timeous completion of all administrative functions related to KPI’s. Capture all relevant data accurately and completely on the ATMS website and the Excel spreadsheet.Manage all incidents in accordance to Sop’s.Monitor and report all system failures and problems to the shift supervisor.Monitor and report all road and roadside damages to the shift supervisor. Ensure the VMS’s on the assigned section of the road is working. Ensure the completion of all incident folders with the relevant snapshots and incident videos extracted. Assist the supervisor with ad hoc tasks.Complete and submit time sheets accurately and timeously. Attend and Take minutes of weekly staff meetings when required.Complete and distribute the shift reports as and when requested.Assist in identifying possible incidents for debriefing. recruitment@teti.co.za
