Missing Link is hiring!

So your mom thinks you’re a wiz with a camera.

However, are you a ninja on a DSLR, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop? (If you needed to Google those words, stop reading now). Can you manage your own time, processes, and your own clients from brief to completion?

If you answered yes to both questions, then there is a job out there for you, somewhere. However, if your eyes lit up and you screamed, ‘F*#k Yeah!!!’ when answering both questions, you might just fit in at Missing Link.

We’re a friendly bunch and you’ll need to fit in; our culture is what sets us apart from the last joint you worked at. We need someone who’s willing to push the extra hours for that perfect montage, a storyteller who is a bit different (if you are eating a crayon, you are special, not different and there is a difference).  We want you to step out of your comfort zone and find your inner video-mutant at the madhouse we call Missing Link.

• Take a deep breath because shit is about to get real!
• Subject: I have what it takes to be a Video Ninja at Missing Link. 
• Tell us a little about yourself in the body of the email. Remember, this is the first time we will acknowledge your existence – make it rad and make it count. What is the worst that could happen? We say no and you go back to Facebook stalking the hottie at the gym.
• Include in the subject line a hashtag of your favourite movie (we won’t judge, promise).
• Because a reference letter from your mom that reads, ‘My child makes the best family videos’ isn’t enough, we need a showreel, a kickass showreel.
• Attach your latest CV.

Requirements

• Project management skills.
• Extensive Premiere Pro knowledge; a good understanding of After Effects and Photoshop; a full understanding of how to use a DSLR to shoot, as well as lighting and audio recording; proficient on Apple Mac.

Advantageous

• Ability to edit quickly without sacrificing objective and quality.

Personal skills/attributes

• You need to manage your own work; you are your own project manager.
• A kick-ass attitude, not a talented asshole.
