Qualification

Requirements

Must currently be residing in Bloemfontein
Operate roll forming machines, flashing line and cranking machine
Minimum 2 to 5 years’ experience in a production environment with a progressive company
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position

Duties

Maintain the operations existing margin percentages by keeping wastage down
Maximize profitability
Provide accurate reports on waste / off cut management
Ensure that subordinates are productive
Put systems in place and manage systems going forward
Ensure that staffing requirements are met
Alleviate backlogs / bottlenecks
Supervising and motivating the team of workers
Ensure that legal obligations are met-Health and Safety
Ensure all mobile mill and factory milling jobs are to customers satisfaction
Ensure stock gets scanned, loaded and delivered accurately. Receiving goods accurately. Routes are established and maintained effectively
Assist sales staff with their duties when needed
Promote Global Roofing Solutions products at all times
Marketing-Liaising with the Wip Supervisor to prioritize orders to offer service excellence to the customer base
Ensure timeous processing of manufacturing document into the factory
Monthly Material wastage/stock
General Administration and Filing
Ensure all Job cards and delivery notes are returned to the salesperson.
Working out the human & material resources needed
Ensure all machinery and tools are safe, functional, serviced and in working order
Manage / site project ensuring material being profiled correctly
Knowledge of all material in warehouse
Overseeing the loading of trucks and ensure that trucks leave timeously
Overseeing the route planning of trucks
Manage waste / off cut management in warehouse
