This position requires the candidate to carry out repairs, maintenance and services on EAZI Access Platforms, the employee must also be prepared to carry out stand-by duties. The technician is requested to perform his/her duties in a professional and safe manner. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
? PC Literacy: required to have basic computer skills.
? Mechanical qualification in diesel/electric/hydraulic equipment/Millwright.
? Basic admin skills required. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ? PC Literacy: required to have basic computer skills.
? Mechanical experience in diesel, electric and hydraulic equipment. ? Basic knowledge of general health and safety CORE FUNCTIONS: ? Establish & maintain a safe work environment at all times
? Service and repairs to be carried out as per EAZI Accessâs quality standard, services are to be completed as requested and done on time. ? Preventative maintenance is to be carried out to prevent breakdowns.
? Pre and post inspections on Eazi access equipment to be completed each time the unit is checked.
? Avoid rework at all cost and ensure that the complete unit is checked and not just the problem that was reported.
? Ensure work area is cleaned after each repair
? Ensure job card/POD/Work sheet is completed with all necessary details and paper work to be handed in weekly ? Maintain awareness of EAZI Accessâs employeesâ rules and regulations as per the EAZI Access policy manual
? To be available to do standby monthly as set out by the register and available for that week on standby. When on stand-by response time of two hours must be maintained
? Ensure start and finish time is accordance with the policy manual
? Correct PPE to be used at all times
? To hand back to the office all invoices from suppliers within 2 days where applicable.
? Ensure lifting equipment ie. Slings, chains etc. is tested annually
? Ensue all tools are free of damage and correct tools used for the job
